The ABOUT US project brings together an outstanding group of intergenerational artists from dance, visual art, experimental music and theatre including: director/choreographer Jacky Lansley, composer Sylvia Hallett, cinematographer Roswitha Chesher, lighting/technical designer Nao Nagai and dramaturg Ramsay Burt. The interdisciplinary performers participating include: Esther Huss, Fergus Early, Jreena Green, Tim Taylor, Vincent Ebrahim, Ursula Early and Ingrid Mackinnon.
In this second phase of development the company have focused on the personal as political – explored through a rich tapestry of movement, words, space and image. Part of this new research journey imagines the experience of endangered species – such as the elephant and giraffe – as a way to investigate what it is to be human beings…
